By implementing learning models such as Project-Based Learning and the 2+1+1 Program, which provides multicampus experiences and an Enrichment Program, BINUS University upholds its vision of becoming a creative, technology-based institution that nurtures and empowers communities at a global level.

As part of this digital transformation journey, essentials the agency. had the opportunity to manage and optimize the digital performance of the BINUS @Bandung, BINUS @Malang, BINUS School Simprug, BINUS Online, and SATU University websites through various SEO strategies, content optimization efforts, and visibility improvements to support BINUS University’s mission of reaching more prospective students across Indonesia.

PROJECT DETAILS

1. Increasing Visibility, Traffic, and Brand Awareness

The SEO project was designed to strengthen BINUS University’s digital presence so that academic programs, campus information, and student services become easier to find for prospective students across Indonesia.

2. Website Optimization for Branding & Conversion

The team focused on optimizing the website, page structure, technical performance, keyword mapping, and building content clusters that support branding goals while increasing leads and student registrations.

3. Target Page Mapping and Topic Clustering

In-depth research was conducted on keywords and user search behavior to determine priority pages, both for boosting brand awareness and driving conversions.

IDENTIFYING THE PROBLEMS

1. Technical Issues and Website Structure

Suboptimal loading speed, unorganized URL structures, duplicate meta titles, missing image alt text, and various Google Search Console errors were affecting overall organic performance.

2. Keyword Visibility Is Not Optimal

Several study programs and lead-generation pages were not appearing in ideal search positions, reducing their potential to attract new student registrations.

3. Limited High-Quality Backlinks

The lack of authoritative backlinks restricted domain credibility and overall site authority.

4. Few Leads for New Academic Programs

New study programs had not gained enough exposure due to limited keyword optimization and the absence of strong supporting content.

3. Engagement Rate

The average increase in engagement rate across all optimized campuses reached 31.55%, showing enhanced user interaction quality, longer visit durations, and improved content engagement throughout all units of BINUS University.
